Cynthia Peterson is responsible for project management and customer service.  Her project management duties include working with owners and project consultants on the coordination of all McCaren Design services; design production coordination; specification writing; and preparation of project budgets and design review materials.  In addition Cynthia supplies proposals and pricing to fulfill customers requirements; prepares annual budgets for the customer budgeting process; and works as a liaison between the customer and other McCaren Designs’ departments.

Cynthia Peterson joined McCaren Designs, Inc. in 1982 as an Administrative Assistant.  Her present responsibilities are as vice-president, new business development.  Her duties include marketing of design and project management services as well as management of projects brought into the firm.  Prior to joining McCaren Designs, Inc., Ms. Peterson was a Horticultural Account Manager for Rentokil Tropical Plants, Prairie View, Illinois (1980-81).  While at RTP (the world’s largest plantscaping firm), Ms. Peterson was responsible for the management of their Madison, Wisconsin accounts. Her duties included all aspects of account management.  Ms. Peterson, after receiving a BS. degree in Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was an Agricultural Educator for the Action-Peace Corps in the Philippines. She is a Chartered Certified Interior Landscape Professional, the 1993 Chairperson of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America, Interior Landscape Division, and ALCA’s 1998 President.
