McRae Anderson is the principal in charge of design.  His duties include:  interior site design and development; review of consultants’ work, specifications and working drawings review.

McRae Anderson founded McCaren Designs in 1977.  He is President of McCaren Designs and responsible for all areas of corporate planning and development.  In addition, he is Principal Designer for major projects.  Prior to forming McCaren Designs, Inc. he was Nursery Manager for Margolis Bros. Garden Center and Nursery, Inc., St. Paul, MN (1977-79).  Mr. Anderson was Territory Manager for Economics Laboratory, Inc., St. Paul, (1974-77).

Mr. Anderson, attended the University of Minnesota where he studied agricultural economics and marketing (1969-74).  During his studies he was:  a M.S.A. Student Senator; on the St. Paul Campus Student Council; a representative on the Freshman Board; and a member of Alpha Gamma Rho professional fraternity.  He is presently a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, American Landscape Contractors Association, and the Inc. 500, Inc. Council of Growing Companies, and The Executive Committee.  He is a Certified Interior Landscape Professional.
